"iPad" Tablet for the visually impaired

I don't know if anyone has seen this or not yet but I came across this article
<http://bigthink.com/design-for-good/the-worlds-first-tablet-for-blind-people>;over
the weekend.

I've seen the technology before that they use for the tablet screen and
it's REALLY impressive, I just didn't think it was ready for commercial
deployment yet but apparently the creator <http://blitab.com/>;of this
tablet thinks otherwise.
