Thanks Birkir. Announcing the incorrect number of tabs would indeed be a problem.

A question about your other point:

So what you're saying is that on touchscreens you don't have the opportunity of implementing a 'focus mode' tab list navigation because there is no 'focus mode'. Have I got that right?
