Definition list counts (FF with NVDA miscounts)

Hello,
In doing some testing with NVDA I discovered that NVDA with Firefox miscounts the number of items in a definition list. I searched for this topic in the WebAIM archives and found a conversation about this from back in 2015. It's disappointing that this is still occurring. Does anyone know if some sort of hack has been figured out for this to make both Chrome and Firefox behave the same?
