This was the reason that in the fall of 2002, when I was completing a fully
accessible website, we opted not to use access keys. The more I researched
it the more reserved keys I found. Before long, the client and I felt that
it was more possible trouble for people than it was worth.
I am all for access keys... And some standardization of them. But I don't
feel it's ready for prime time until we have that.
