Dear all
Regarding accessible shopping carts, there is a new and fully accessible
e-commerce software package named Karova Store. The software is launching at
the RNIB TechShare conference on 20th November.
Karova Store is built with cross-browser CSS for presentation. All the
Karova pages are AAA accessible and the form (checkout pages) are AA. The
software is aimed at professional web site developers who can fully control
all aspects of design with CSS and store functionality with XML and XSLT.
The software has an 'accessibility engine' to ensure that developers cannot
forget <alt> or <title> tags, cannot add HTML tables except for tabular data
and otherwise generally screw up the accessibilty of a store
For more information, take a look at www.karova.com
Hope this helps, we have been using the beta version and it is absolutely
fabulous.
Kind regards
Andy Clarke
