If you press JawsKey + V to open the Word verbosity settings, then go to Headings, there are now three settings: On, Off, Heading and level. It is not clear when you land on this for the first time whether it is on or off, the state is not announced. However, I suspect it is off by default whereas it used to be on by default. Same with Page Headers and Footers...used to be on by default and now I think it is off by default.
