Subject: [WebAIM] JAWS 2019 not reading the Description field in Word 2016 documents?
Hello all. Suddenly I noticed that JAWS 2019 is not reading the Description Alt Text field of images in MS Word 2016. Instead it reads only the Title field and says "unlabeled" for images with Descriptions but not the Title field. NVDA and VoiceOver both correctly read the Description field.
I have tried this with multiple documents and images. I am using JAWS v2019.1904.60
A collegue is getting the same issue. Is anyone else getting this behavior or is it just me?
Thanks.
Joseph
