That's often a budget question too. When we test for a customer, we make
recommendations to test with the latest version of the screen readers.
That's easy for NVDA and Voiceover because there's not a cost (although you
should donate to NVDA when possible <smile>). With JAWS, depending on your
license, there might be a cost to have the latest version. If the customer
is willing to pay for us to test multiple versions, we'll do it, but they
often just one one version each of NVDA, Voiceover, and JAWS.
