Hello:

Zoom is very accessible on any of the platforms. Many of the blindness
organizations, such as Hadley Institute for the Blind, are using it
successfully.

Subject: [WebAIM] Accessible Chat clients

I just received a Technical Assistance question from our state VR for Blind
and VI department asking about the "accessibility of Chat clients for people
with blindness and low vision."

I took a look in the WebAIM archives and see a thread from a number of years
ago. Wonder if there is anything newer or a research source? Best I could
find is

BTW, I have asked for more specifics from VR but I suspect the question is
regarding Chat in Zoom Meeting since that is what our state is using for
video conference. But as you all know, there are now dozens (scores?) of
these systems out there including a whole bunch of new ones for telehealth.

PS: Thank you to everyone who responded (on and off list) to my previous
question about date/time annotations.
