Liv,

In Word, make sure that you have checked the option in "Table Design" for header row. Only selecting "repeat as header row" for the header row in "table layout" sometimes does not generate the <TH> tag when the document is converted to PDF.

I do not have the buggy version of Acrobat Pro(thanks to this forum, I was able to flag the issue for IT and not receive the update). However, some of my colleagues have it, and when they converted to PDF with PDF maker the table header tags did follow into the PDF correctly. But I did have the option set for "header row" in table design. (We use Windows, I'm not sure if the same would be true on a Mac).
