Hi Garymm,
My name is Sachin Pavithran and I am an employ of WEBAIM. I am legally
blind and use JAWS for navigating on a computer. Here is my quote...
As the Web becomes our main vehicle for exchanging information, sometimes we
overlook the fact whether people with disabilities have access to that
information. We need to ask ourselves whether our sites are accessible to
people who are blind or visually impaired, deaf or hearing impaired, or
physically challenged and may use assistive technology, such as Braille
terminals or screen readers. Making web sites accessible is not only the
moral thing to do but also the right of an individual to have equal access
to that information.
Regards.
