Hi all! We have made some changes to (hopefully) minimize Outlook and other Microsoft-administered email systems from rejecting and marking email list messages as spam. Over the last few weeks nearly all Outlook, Live, MSN, Yahoo, and related emails were unsubscribed from the list due to Microsoft rejecting all list messages. These emails have been resubscribed.
This is a constantly moving target with Microsoft providing only ambiguous guidance and minimal feedback on how to avoid these issues. If any list messages are marked as Junk/Spam, please flag them as not being so. We’re hopeful the new list settings will help. You may see future messages come in with minimal formatting or attachments. If you encounter issues, please let me know.
For optimal accessibility and to support better usability of the online list archives, we kindly ask list subscribers to please minimize message formatting and to please trim quoted messages in your responses to only the relevant portions.
As always, you can administer your list subscription at https://webaim.org/discussion/
The WebAIM email list has been an integral part of the accessibility community for over 25 years. Thank you for being part of it!
