Any office or public building is required by law to have an emergency
evacuation plan, which must include an assessment of risk to all users,
including visitors. If you aren't aware of this plan then you should find out
who is responsible for that risk assessment. After all, the single most
important thing with any escape directions is that they are correct and
up-to-date!
