My statement is also based on real testing. When I say that there are
better ways to provide a non-scripting alternative than to use noscript
and that one reason is that user agent support for progressive
enhancement is solid whereas user agent support, including in the most
commonly used screen reader, is not solid for noscript, that's my
opinion but it is based on facts.

I didn't say it was dead, just that there are better ways that produce
more reliable accessibility that should be used instead. Show me an
example where it produces the best overall result and I'll use it.
