This is not a problem with JavaScript, but rather poor development
technique: WCAG 1, Priority 2: 6.4 For scripts and applets, ensure that
event handlers are input device-independent.
I do not use Basecamp, nor have I examined their code directly, but
based on what you are writing here, the fix should be relatively trivial
for the basecamp developers (and I am surprised that this issue exists -
I was always under the impression that they were fairly attuned to
accessibility issues).
