Hi Guys,
I am in need of a site review. The site being
http:bneekibinqldau.lionwap.org
Reason: I will be attending a convention this weekend and have a meeting
with the person responsible for the above site and hundreds more just like
it. I would like to be able to show him how the site appears to people
using assistive technology, particularly screen readers and those with low
vision.
When I took over the site in my sig I set out to redesign it and make it
more accessible. I have always considered it strange that Lions support
the blind and visually impared but their web sites don't. My plan was to
get our District web site to a reasonable level then start a campaign to
raise the standard of other sites here in Australia. As luck would have
it, a few months ago I was invited to assist with the Lions Australia
site, which i am happy to say is now under review with the intent to
redesign with accessibility a priority.
Thr current Lions Australia site is http://www.lionsclubs.org.au
If I could only find time to finish where I started :-)
