I tried accessing the PBS American Experience site at
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/zoot/eng_sfeature/mx/pop_zoot_mx.html using IBM
Home Page Reader and all I got was Object Object. Did anyone get any text or
links read?

Using HomePage Reader, that all you will get. If you want to "hear" the
Flash you need the current version of Window-Eyes. You can download a demo
at www.gwmicro.com
I wrote an article that dissects this demo and looks at some of the pros and
cons. http://www.alistapart.com/stories/flash_mx_moving/

The "accessible content" in a Flash MX file is currently only
accessible to WindowEyes.
