Subject: language of PDF not recognised (Adobe InDesign / Acrobat Pro)

Hi,

I've created an accessible PDF with InDesign CS 5.5.
After exporting, I've set the language to Dutch in the file-properties in Acrobat X Pro .
In the tagspanel, I opened the properties of the root <document> tag and deleted the language setting "en-US" because InDesign adds this automatically.

Jaws 11 still switches to English when reading the PDF.

I'm clueless.
Any suggestions?

You need to verify that the speech synthesizer you are using supports
Dutch. I am assuming that it does not. When the synthesizer does not
support the language of the document, then the default language will be
used. check the speech profile in use to see what options you have for
the synthesizers you are using.
