Do you want to improve the universal usability of web sites and applications for all Fidelity customers? Fidelity's User Experience Research Team seeks a User Experience professional with demonstrated expertise in Web Accessibility.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Web Accessibility standards and guidelines, usability heuristics, HTML, javascript, and CSS, and experience with working with teams to make Web sites and applications accessible.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

Take visual designs for projects and document accessibility requirements - including markup, alternative content, and keyboard interactions.
* Test that the requirements you defined were implemented according to spec using various accessibility testing tools and/or assistive technologies.
* Consult with web designers, developers, and quality assurance engineers on general questions around accessibility.
* Participate in strategic projects to forward Accessibility at Fidelity.
Requirements:
*
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience in Web Design or Development field
* Expertise in Section 508, WCAG 2.0, WAI-ARIA, HTML5 and Web Standards
* Expertise in making Ajax, video, PDF, Flex and Silverlight accessible.
* Basic fluency with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, ZoomText, Dragon Naturally Speaking - and understanding of the user experience for those using assistive technologies - or other accessibility features.
* Passion in advocating for, and creating, great user experiences.
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing project needs.
* Strong design and analytical skills.
* Attention to detail when documenting requirements.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Additional Desired Skills and Experience:
*
Knowledge of iOS and/or Android accessibility
* Understanding of cross browser differences when making accessibility recommendations.
