Hi there,

Has anyone had luck implementing an accessible hovercard?

When I first read this message using JAWS, I thought the question was about
an accessible hover car :) Which would be totally awesome!

I'm sorry I can't provide any details about an accessible hovercard, but if
you ever hear of an accessible hover car, let me know, that would totally
rock.

Heck, why not? They have cars that can park themselves these days.

Teleportation is what I want. The sidewalks here are a delightful mix of slushy snow and ice, and the traffic has been a total nightmare. I just don't want to go outside!

But Jennison, what is Hovercard? Do you have a link?

Isn't a Hovercard a fancy popover or tool tip?

jQuery has a hovercard plug-in that supports social media, Google + has
one, Outlook has implemented one, etc - basically it's kinda like a
business card that appears with user info on hover.

I haven't seen a truly accessible version yet, but there may be one since
so many are implementing.

accessible to who/persons with which functional limitations? was Blind assumed? Deaf, or dexterity impaired? let's remember/remind ourselves that there's no one monolithic 'person with a disability' for which some product - EIT/ICT - is accessible or not accessible.
