Good morning,
I know this is probably a long shot, but has anyone had experience with remediating COBOL code that is recompiled to a .Net framework? We've scanned a number of pages for accessibility issues and since the COBOL has been recompiled by a 3rd party tool that doesn't seem concerned with accessibility, we are seeing 400+ errors on every page. The errors would be simple enough to correct if they were in straight .Net but I'm not sure how we would go about adding labels and iframe titles and whatnot when these errors are introduced by the software used to compile to a web based interface.

If anyone has done this (or something similar) before, or knows of someone that may be able to assist in helping us do this, I would appreciate the info.

Thanks for your time,
~Heidi

There are frameworks such as accDc https://github.com/accdc/accdc that may allow you to use scripting dynamically to update the HTML document object model of the page to make it accessible. These types of frameworks can add accessibility at the run time rather than when the code is generated.

Best Regards,

Jonathan
