Subject: Iframe accessibility in IE 11
No previous message | No next message
Dear members,
I would like to know your observations/experience about the following issue:
There is a modal dialog box containing an Iframe which has some form
fields inside it.
The expected behavior here is:
When we activate the submit button without filling the mandatory fields in it,
The focus has to go to the required field which is left empty and jaws
should announce it.
This is working fine in FF 38 and 45. But, not in IE11
In IE, the focus sometimes goes to the required field which is left empty.
But, this behavior is not consistent.
I would like to know:
Whether there is any known accessibility issues with IE 11 and Iframes
especially when the Iframe contains form fields in it?
Is there any way to fix this issue? Or, do we have to look for any
alternative way of error identification?
Thanks for any inputs.
Ramakrishnan
