Hello,
This is a little off topic, but I am wondering if anyone is or knows of a
sap partner who also knows about accessibility, specifically screen reader
accessibility and how it relates to SAP?
I am evaluating ERP Systems and SAP is the only one I have seen that has
some of what our business needs and has talked about accessibility at all.
I have contacted several major ERP providers and none were interested in
working with someone who needs accessibility.
I know there are several agencies on this list who deal with accessible
software and it would be amazing if they also were SAP partners or were
partners of an ERP company.
I would really like to explore every avenue before building a custom ERP in
house. Thanks,

Thanks,

Hi Brandon,

Not aware of any partner who can help you particularly with SAP
accessibility, but as far as I know, all SAP technologies like SAPGUI,
SAPUI5, SAP Webdynpro etc. have extensive support for Accessibility.
This might help:

Thanks

Brandon,

You may want to check out Penn State University's accessibility department. I know when I took SAP classes I had to install JAWS scripts on my end and they had to make some modifications on the server. The modifications were not major. After that, the UI was accessible.

That was when XP and JAWS 12 were around. Of course things have changed, but Penn State University should have a good answer for you.

If you run into any issues getting a hold of someone, let me know. I still have connections with faculty and staff members.
