While a lot of the Kendo UI widgets are WAG 2.0 and Section 508 accessible,
according to their own docs the Spreadsheets are not.

If you need a grid system, the jQuery DataTables plugin may be a better
option (https://datatables.net/).

Larry

How does one navigate with JAWS in for example the multiple tables
example of jQuery DataTables?

I cannot quite get to the table body, except for with the virtual cursor
and then reading each individual cell with the down arrow.

We had some good experience with data grids from ExtJS 6 and what was
missing could be added relatively easily.

Kind regards, Miriam

Hi Miriam,

Unfortunately I don't have a copy of Jaws on my laptop here at home. You
many want to check out the implementation of Datatables that the Center for
Medicare and Medicaid Services has in their Assets Framework.
https://assets.cms.gov/resources/framework/3.4.1/Pages/#datatables

BTW overall the Assets framework is 508 compliant, it may be worth checking
out the other widgets and the framework in general:

hth,
larry
