Google is looking for feedback on the accessiblity of some new tools. I
am hoping this group can accommodate.
The Google Viewer and Keyboard Shortcuts have excellent possibilities
for disability access.

ACCESS RESOURCES: Google Labs

The Internet search engine Google (www.google.com) has several prototype
tools available that may make searching the Internet easier for a person
with a disability. Users are invited to try these tools and provide
feedback. Currently, Google is showcasing Google Viewer, Keyboard
Shortcuts, and Voice Search. Google Viewer presents the results of a
search in a slide show format (helpful if you can't remember the name of
the site, but remember how it looks). Keyboard Shortcuts allows a user
to navigate through search results using the keyboard (helpful for
someone who cannot use a mouse). Voice Search is a tool that enables
users to search Google by voice via a telephone call (helpful for
someone who cannot use the keyboard or who is unsure of spelling).
Google engineers and researchers have created these utilities and they
are available at http://labs.google.com/.
