The 2003 Visionary Design Awards <http://visdesign.nlbuk.org/> are
"part of an ongoing campaign by the National Library for the Blind
(NLB) to encourage website publishers and designers to consider
access technology such as magnification, text to speech and
refreshable Braille when they are designing their sites."
The six winning sites, announced on December 4, received awards for
outstanding achievements in ensuring access to their sites for blind
and partially sighted people.
The six are-

I just wanted to point out that this is the UK's National Library for
the Blind and these sites are in Britain.
