Sometimes you might consider linearizing the process. For ecample, if
doing something in a form field automatically does trigger an error,
send the focus to the error message, and then allow the user to select
OK to continue back to the previous location to make the cahnge needed.
this can be visually disconcerting for some users however, so consider
how to implement it well.
