Hi,
I just joined the list, and I thought I'd say hello, and announce whats new
from me and the place I work for.
I'm a dyslexic developer with 10 years of experience in
accessibility/enablement.
And I (under the employ of Textic ltd) have just lauched Talklets:
http://textictalk.com/talklets/install.aspx
http://textictalk.com/shop/
An entirely web based text to speech, screen reader. For IE, Safari or
Firefox, it requires no install or running of any EXE files or cabs, which
means a user can use the screen reading functions via a library, work, home,
friend's machine...
Its current release is for users with some useful vision, but a version for
users with no useful sight is in the pipeline.
Please do spread the word/ ask any questions.
Cheers
Phil
