Hi all,

I'm playing around with Firefox 3 over the last week and it is a great
update; particularly with speed.

I just wanted to get some opinions on the Zoom tool they've added; do
you think this is a good or bad step for accessibility? The only
problem I can really see is the horizontal scollbar it produces as
soon as your content is wider than the page; which for the sort of
people that may be short sighted and need 800 x 600 resolutions in the
first place, this may be a pain.

The other issues may be that it encourages people to stop using
scaleable fonts. If the two major browsers support this and it becomes
standard in the near future; can we do away with them altogether?!

Would like to hear anyone's thoughts on this.
Cheers
Paul

Since it's an option to the alternative text resizing, I'm OK with it.

I know some people like it, other's don't (I don't).

Or, rather, they might not think to check for that in their site
designs/layouts. But we have that problem now, and I can't really blame
Firefox for bad web developers.
