Greetings from someone who is relatively new to this discussion.

We are looking for an open source CMS that can be easily adjusted for
the needs of the administrators that are visually impaired.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Drupal. I'm successfully using it as a blind admin on the following site
http://www.disstudies.org and a couple of other sites that are not yet
ready.

Yes, Drupal is great. Joomla also has a lot going for it also. BTW I am
still waiting for the Drupal/Joomla baby, little Drupla :-)

I've also been waiting for the baby...I thought her name was Droomla!?

I would agree on the Drupal recommendation. I also admire Joomla, but I am a
little concerned about the Image insertion process in v1.5x. It uses an AJAX
script and I'd like to hear from a screen reader user that that is
completely accessible.
