Hello,

I was wondering whether anybody has suggestions for tools to caption
videos on either Windows or OS X? We're looking at adding captions to
about 10 minutes of video (closed). Also, I would appreciate any links/
suggestions as to best practices and so forth.

Best,
- Rahul.

Hi Rahul,

The National Center for Accessible Media has links to a few captioning
tools at http://ncam.wgbh.org/webaccess/tools/index.html, and the NCAM
site in general looks like it has some good resources.

Regards,

Chris

Check out Camtasia for the PC. It is very user friendly, and captioning is very easy.

I like NCAM's MAGpie. It's free, easy to use, and ultimately- it works.
