I have a page that has skip link to get you down to the form section of the web page. The link works great, but JAWS starts reading the label (my anchor point) and then the edit field and keeps on reading and does not automatically go to forms mode. Is this the normal behavior? I'm using JAWS 11 and IE8. I know when I try FireFox 3.5 is goes to forms mode when JAWS hits the edit box (this is what I expected). Any suggestions or should I not worry about this inconsistency between the browsers?

Thanks in advance,
MarkG

I have not used JAWS with Firefox but in my experience same-page links have
always worked the way you describe with Internet Explorer.
