George Mason University - Fairfax, Virginia
(Dewberry Hall, Johnson Center)

George Mason University invites speaker proposals for its 2nd annual
"Access, Employment, and Learning" Technology Showcase. Last year's
showcase welcomed over 400 participants and featured 50 presentations
and exhibitors from the local and federal government, schools and
universities, mainstream and assistive technology hardware and software
vendors, and non-profit organizations.

We are seeking proposals on the following topics:

- Assistive Technology
- Research
- Community resources supporting individuals with disabilities
- Transition for students with disabilities
- Universal Design
- Document accessibility (Accessible instructional materials,
PowerPoint, Word, and PDF Accessibility)
- Section 508/Web accessibility
- New ADA regulations and technology
- Employment resources for individuals with disabilities
- Electronic book accessibility
- Captioning/Video Description
- Distance Education
- Mobile Technologies
- Ergonomics and daily living

In addition to seeking presenters on the topics listed above, we're also
seeking exhibitors with interactive displays, technology demonstrations,
