Adjacent links may be separated with any printable character. Besides
the bracket, or the vertical bar, you could use a period or anything
that looks nice. You can also surround the character with a span element
and using CSS make the printable character the same color as the
background so it is not visually apparent, but since it still prints to
the screen it will act as a separator and still fulfill this rule.
