Hi all

I'm at the stage of writing my new website in Dreamweaver 4 and would like
to know what would be the most accessible template for accessibility,
particularly for visually impaired users.

I would like to know which of these to use:

1. Fixed, flexi or liquid layout?
2. One, two or three columns?

Many thanks

Cheers

Barry

Hi Barry,

As a DeafBlind user, I would prefer the fixed size layout. With the fluid
design sometimes the content itself get the be too wide for easy reading
when viewing with a wide screen monitor. I think the ideal width would be
1000px for most cases. For the number of columns, I prefer three as the max
number of column providing some reasonable "white" spacing between the
columns to help locate the start and ending of each line of the content.

I think this would address the usability issues of the website for most
people as well as people with vision issues. Hope this help.
