All-

In Acrobat Pro X there is a control in the Accessibility Tools labeled "Add Form Fields to Tags". What does this do? We ran it on a form with fields that are not in the tag tree at all and nothing changed. We're trying a few different ways to add form fields to a PDF, and still have not found that this control does anything. What are we missing? It has to be there for a reason.

Thanks much,

Rob Carr

It adds form controls to documents that don't already have them. So it is a
starting point for an untagged document that you want to be a form. It is
limited in that mostly it finds and adds text fields/form controls although
sometimes it will add a check box or two.

Cheers, Karen
