I'm working with Freedom Scientific on a known bug regarding how live regions are being read especially regarding live chats. The live chat that I discovered this one is an internal live chat window here at Oracle. Is anyone aware of an external live chat that uses Aria live region so that I can try and reproduce this for FS?

Which ARIA roles is it using? The term ARIA live region is ambiguous since
it can apply to many different types of ARIA implementations.
For instance, I use ARIA to make the live chat demo at
http://whatsock.com/modules/accessible_chat_dialog_module/demo.htm
accessible for screen reader users, but it doesn't use the expected ARIA
role=log which I've found to be buggy.
