Subject: alturnatives to netsentrics pdf tools

hello:
does any one know if there are competitive products on the market to the
common look or globle access sweet for pdf access cleanup. most of the
people working on pdf in the UC system are using macs and the netcentrics
tools do not run on mac. i was hoping for a quick easy way to help people
with no background in access to make accessible pdfs. thanks lucy Lucia

There is PDF remediation software from Actuate
www.actuate.com
They had a few sessions at CSUN that looked good.
I have no ties with them and I am not a fulltime end user, so this is
just info I am relaying from CSUN, not an endorsement or
advertisement.
I can say they did a very good job presenting, and looked very
thorough and professional at CSUN.
They have also published some whitepapers on PDF and document
accessibility with AFB
