I'm using JAWS 15 and am testing HTML emails in Outlook 2010. Some messages that have code commented out by developers who want it to remain and JAWS is reading all of the commented code as well. Is this an anomaly or is this normal?

I've been searching for an answer for quite a while with no luck.

Thanks in advance.

Yes that is pretty normal. The problem is that Outlook uses the HTML viewer in MS Word instead of IE. You can often get better results by choosing the option to open the email in the browser (Message>Actions>View In Browser) You cannot respond to the message from there though.
