Subject: Fonts, Again

There is much written and discussed on font sizing, and certainly it has
been discussed here.
But...recently on a site I created, I used style sheets to set the body
font size to 12px. From there I used percentages, and the text is
scalable. I read somewhere that it is not correct to mix pixels and
percentages. But, why not?
