Seeking advice regarding an iOS dilemma.

Our testers reported a defect where VoiceOver users cannot check or uncheck a checkbox in a task flow on mobile browser. Our developers say the latest version of iOS (the recently released 8.4) is having issues with the checkbox. Even the default check box is not working when VoiceOver is on. This is only happening on iOS version 8.4.

I read one comment online that this is iPhone 6 only. Not seeing much out there about this. Can anyone confirm this is true?

Has anyone encountered this and if so, what did you to do resolve? I don't know what else one can replace a checkbox with for a comparison task flow, but would love to hear suggestions. Seems like anything else would be a hack and semantically incorrect.

Thanks,

Can you reproduce the bug in a demo .html page? Checkboxes working fine for me on iOS 8.4 at this example page, http://pauljadam.com/demos/mobileforma11y.html.

Apple would ask you to file a bug report likely. I've been filing them for VoiceOver OS X 10.11 and iOS 9 lately.
