Hello! I have a couple of floor layout images (includes employee office, stairway, elevator, restroom locations, etc.) on our intranet and am trying to figure out how to organize alternative text for something like this. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I recently started to create indoor maps from PDF floor plans using Illustrator. I read some articles on accessible maps. To my understanding, the basic idea for alternative text for maps are analyzing the purpose of the map and explain it in plain text.

Here is the link to one article I read. http://www.accessiq.org/news/news/2015/03/accessibility-tip-making-maps-accessible

I am interested in learning more from others' experience.

Thanks,
Jing
