Actually, I thought I'd explain that one ...

The link is the entire sentence - so that screen readersread the whole
phrase out, not just a partial, but on screen we don't want a big fat
underline on the whole link, so just a key part of it is underlined using
<u>. This is then styled with CSS such that links in the body of the page
are not underlined, but the <u> tag applies an underline where we want it.

Good point about the pop-ups - they're not accessible. I will try to get a
change put in for these!

Much better than most :)

Shame about the JS new-window links, script-powered go button and
slightly dodgy alt text - "Great News" doesn't need to be duplicated.

I'd also question the summary you have on the table ("This table is
used for visual layout purposes") - does it actually add anything? It
could well slow down screen reader access to the page.

And of course there is the usual thing of using more structured HTML,
like using <h2> instead of <u><strong>.

And these pages are *so* near to validating it's painful :)
