Subject: Podcast Transcript: Dilemma with length of abstracts

Hi WebAIM list members,
as a reader of a podcast transcript on web pages the user should get best
user experience, but what is the best length of an abstract in a transcript?
I think of the following Pros and Cons of short vs. long abstracts in
transcripts:
The pro of a longer abstract is, that you dont have so much to scroll on
your device display (especially on a mobile phone)
but a big con is the bad readability, its hard to keep the reading focus.
Yes, the content aspects loom large, you concatenate sentences with strong
content proximity,
but I primarily think of best transcript abstract length for text layout.
What is your recommendation, long or short abstracts or a middle course for
the abstract length?
I made following example, to illustrate the dilemma. By the way, its both
the identical text.
Example long abstract:
------------------------------
// ---- START continuous text (300 words)

justo mollis in. Fusce et facilisis leo. Aenean ut dui eu dolor varius
accumsan. Nullam gravida nulla non nisi posuere, et venenatis diam posuere.
Etiam quis ultrices nibh. Phasellus a nisi massa. Nam pellentesque tellus
nec laoreet ornare. Etiam hendrerit lectus porta lobortis placerat. Ut
