Abstract:

This workshop will cover information on disability, assistive technology, and step-by-step instructions on conducting UX evaluation sessions with students with disabilities to better understand accessibility issues and offer more effective solutions. Recruiting and preparing participants, accessible data collection materials, arranging study locations, appropriate language, preparing multiple means for communication, different UX methods (usability testing, observations, surveys, and think aloud), measures and metrics, and reporting results will be presented.
