Hi All,
As you know I am seeking a job in accessibility. The question that I have today is how do I prove myself to companies before landing a job? I know I need a portfolio to show I have the skills but how to do I go about building one?

For me as a hiring manager, I will look at the resume or linkedin profile
and see what experience you have. I would then ask for a sample audit. If
you've only done proprietary work and can't share those results, then I'd
ask you to review the home page of some random site and send me the
results. If you've made it that far, then I'd give you a call to get more
details on your background.
