Scholarship Program for WebAIM's Accessible Documents Course

Since 2018, more than 11,000 participants have completed the online course—Accessible Documents: Word, PowerPoint, & Acrobat. In 2020, WebAIM officially launched this program to enroll individuals with a disability in the course without cost.

This program has three goals:

  1. Providing job and professional skills to people with disabilities.
  2. Supporting WebAIM's mission to empower organizations and individuals to create accessible content.
  3. Increasing awareness of WebAIM's online training program.

About the Online Course

This course features 38 video-based learning activities with:

  • Multimedia transcripts
  • Quizzes & Exams
  • Practice Files

This is an independent-study course designed for adult learners that have experience creating Word & PowerPoint documents. Each monthly course cohort is open for 60 working days (excludes weekends & U.S. holidays) from the opening date.
