Tellenger, Inc. seeks a full-time Web developer with strong 508
compliance experience to support the development of a high profile
Government website. You will also play an important role in shaping our
company while building websites for Government and private sector
clients. The position is based largely in downtown DC and sometimes in
Fairfax, VA.
Requirements:
* A minimum of five years experience with HTML/CSS for large enterprise
clients
* A minimum of five years of 508 compliance expertise
* Bachelors degree
* Passion for Web technologies (experience with other Web technologies
and ecommerce is a plus)
* Must be a U.S. citizen (essential)
Option to be an employee (with full benefits) or independent contractor
Position Description
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
You will work with the government primarily (and sometimes private
sector clients) to perform the following types of activities:
* Develop, maintain, and support the development of a high profile
government website
* Tweak code to improve 508 compliance (experience with Virtual508.com a
plus)
* Test 508 compliance
* Think through and implement content organization and structure
* Support system development initiatives throughout all lifecycle
stages, including requirements definition, design, development, testing,
and implementation
Ancillary Responsibilities:
In addition to building websites that improves organizational
effectiveness and efficiency you will play a role in shaping Tellenger:
* Brainstorm ways of improving client services/products
* Innovate better ways of doing business
* Participate in business strategy sessions
Salary
Well above average, commensurate with experience
