Terry Weaver at GSA would be a good contact for this kind of
information.

Subject: [WebAIM] Social media and 508
Hello All,
We have a number of clients who want to create their own facebook,
flickr, and youtube areas. I am trying to raise the concern of 508 and
have put forth that in my opinion since the sites are being "used" by
the Federal government to convey their information that 508 inherently
applies. After receiving a response of "well such and such agency is
doing it" or "we'll make it compliant" I feel I'm in a debate I'd like
to have more background on. I haven't done any assessment of the various
sites as of yet. Before doing so, I wanted to see if others have had
similar project experiences or have done any assessment of the three
social media sites mentioned above.
Thanks,
Brian Cramer
