Hey all,

Optgroup is handled by IE 5.X on the Macintosh platform as well, but that
really is of no concern when speaking in respect to JAWS.

I've found that JAWS does handle OPTGROUP, in that it will read off the
items in a the listing. Are you looking for JAWS to make associations? That
will not happen, sad to say.

The only technology that I'm aware of that supports optgroup is Netscape
6.x. I wish others did, but I don't think they do. Maybe the screen reader
Emacspeak for Unix/Linux does, but I'm not familiar enough with it to know.
Emacspeak has support for everything it seems, so I wouldn't be surprised if
it supports this feature.
